My work
As well as undertaking stained glass windows for private individuals, I have worked on public art commissions across the country, I teach in Cumbria and Yorkshire, and have been involved in a number of community projects to develop and deliver stained glass designs.
Techniques used for these projects include : kiln-fired glass painting; sand-blasted glass (sometimes called etched glass); slumped or kiln-formed glass; screen-printed painted glass and traditional lead work. I use traditional methods of glass painting and staining as well as the more contemporary techniques of screen-printing and sand-blasting. Often my work will combine these different finishes.
